Hey Jay, I love reading your articles. It’s like going back to when we were young, in a mental time machine. I would love to see videos of us little delinquents (speaking for myself only) back in the day. Keep up the awesome work man.

Thanks for sharing your memories! Great writing. I did 5th & 6th grade at the Intermediate school, with Mr. Brown being my favorite teacher, before the next three grades at Jr. High. First class (77) to do Sophomore year in the "NEW" section of the high school. Hard to believe Central is still hosting pre-school and K, which weren't even available yet for us, and grades 1-3.

The name Mrs. Wolfreys reminds me of one of my teachers in Boston, Mrs Wolf. We all howled whenever she walked into the room. In gym we climbed a rope to the ceiling with a two inch hard blue mat underneath in case anyone fell. Like that would of done anything but no one ever fell.

Great times.

Such fun memories and so vivid, Jay. It was 5th and 6th grade when I was there about 10 years earlier. I do remember the near face-plants on the wall nearly under the basketball hoops. That gym/auditorium was used for one or two seasons of summer floor hockey that was great fun and "kept us busy".

Mr. Cabana was my 6th grade teacher and was one of the best of the many wonderful teachers I had in the EB system. My brother and I rode the "H-Trip" bus to and from the Intermediate. It was usually driven by Billy Kingman who was the father of your friends; a super guy who passed way too early.
